Progress continues across Lakesong Texas as work moves forward on the roads, utilities, future amenities, and other infrastructure that will support the community for years to come.
From the grand entry to The Cove, crews continue to prepare the land and put important pieces of the community into place.
The Grand Entry Takes Shape
One of the next areas of focus at Lakesong is the community’s grand entry.
Preparations are underway for work to begin in this highly visible area, which will help create the first impression residents and visitors have as they arrive at Lakesong.
Nearby, construction of the Huffines Boulevard roundabout is now complete. The curbs have been installed, and the surrounding areas have been backfilled, marking another important step in establishing the community’s future roadway network.
Progress at The Cove
Work is also continuing at The Cove, the community’s future amenity center.
Crews have largely completed detailed grading of the site, meaning the ground has been shaped and leveled to the elevations needed for future construction. Teams are now verifying those grades before moving into the next stages of work.
Work on the underground water and utility connections serving the amenity center is now underway. Much of the utility work throughout the surrounding area has been completed and will move through the inspection process before crews cover the lines and prepare the ground above them. Once inspections are complete, work can continue toward preparing the area for future parking lot pavement and additional construction around the amenity center.
While much of this progress happens behind the scenes, these steps are essential to creating the infrastructure that will eventually serve The Cove and the residents who will enjoy it.
Building Lakesong from the Ground Up
Land development is a process of many interconnected steps. Roads, drainage, utilities, grading, and site preparation all must come together before the place residents will see and experience every day can begin to emerge.
Each completed step brings Lakesong Texas closer to the vision planned for the 2,700-acre community.
